Photos
Big. Sharp. Life-size and lifelike. Your photos have never looked as good as they do in high definition on your widescreen TV.
Your life, in high definition.
Apple TV is great for watching HD films, but it’s truly amazing for displaying your digital photos. Big, bold, in high definition. It’s the kind of treatment your life deserves. Select My Photos on Apple TV to browse photo albums that are on your computer. Sync photos you want to view. It’s a great way to relive the memories from a trip. Or put together a slideshow with music as an interesting background visual during a party.
Change the way you look at photos.
Scroll through thumbnails. Blow up to view full screen. Play slideshows with your music as a soundtrack. Or let your photos play randomly across your TV screen.
Visual aids: Events and Faces.
Apple TV brings the ease and organisation of iPhoto to the big screen with Events and Faces. Events lets you flip through photos grouped by event, like “Beach house” or “Vegas trip.” Faces uses face detection to identify people in your photos and face recognition to match faces that look like the same person. Click the Faces view and Apple TV shows you a cork board featuring a snapshot of each person you’ve named in your photos, making it easy to spot people. And even easier to find the photos you want.
Flickr and MobileMe.
Apple TV can access your own or your friend’s Flickr photos or MobileMe Gallery. Skim albums to see what’s inside, select an album, and check out your favourite photos.
