Mac OS X Leopard

With more than 300 new features, Mac OS X Leopard lets you have more fun — and be more productive — with your Mac. In this workshop, we’ll show you how to use such new Desktop features as Stacks, Spaces, Quick Look, and Cover Flow. You’ll see the fun new video effects available in iChat and learn how to take advantage of screen sharing in iChat Theater. You’ll also find out how to use Time Machine and Time Capsule to back up your Mac securely and automatically.

Getting Started with a Mac

If you have a new Mac or you’re thinking about getting one, this is the workshop for you. You’ll see how easy it is to work and play on a Mac as we take you through the basics. That includes setting up your new Mac, connecting it to the Internet, sending email, and setting up a printer. You’ll also learn how to import and share photos; take advantage of MobileMe; transfer your favorite music, movies, and TV shows to your iPod; organize and search for files; and sync contacts, music, and more to iPhone.

Getting Started for PC to Mac

Switching to a Mac? This is a great place to start. In this workshop, we’ll familiarize you with the Mac operating system and show you how to accomplish on a Mac what you used to do on a Windows PC. We’ll also dispel common myths, show you how Windows applications like Microsoft Excel and Word work on a Mac, and answer any questions you may have.

iPhone

Get to know the new iPhone 3G. In this workshop, we walk you through the basics and provide plenty of tips and tricks to take you further. See how easy it is to make calls, send email, and surf the web. You’ll also learn more about syncing, making web clips, downloading applications from the Apps Store, and much more.
