About Duckbill
Tool to encapsulate scripts of virtually any language as double-clickable, or Drag-and-Droppable applications. Your choice of window, none, simple progress bar window, scrolling text field, WebKit rendering window, terminal window. Many GUI controls are available in each window which your script may manipulate through simply sending commands to STDOUT (i.e. output of your script).
Your script may also receive messages from STDIN as the user clicks buttons, or drag-and-drops on your app. Script commands may ‘Badge’ the dock icon, use standard system Alert sheets to interact with the user, and much more. If you use scripts of any type, (shell, perl, tcl, python, etc.) you can make polished apps with just a few clicks.
